Beginning Watercolor Workshop with Stephanie Kolman
COMING IN 2018
Ella Sharp Museum Activities Room
3225 Fourth St.
Jackson, MI 49203
Explore various watercolor techniques through four projects. Find the joy of transparency that no other medium can give and realize the boundless possibilities of watercolors and what kind of work you have to put into it to make it happen.
Throughout these two days Stephanie will encourage you to work from the emotional or inner self, reacting freely to the techniques that are being taught without fear of not getting it right or being as good as someone else. “As soon as an artist picks up a brush and makes a mark on the paper, their work has value.”
$95 for JCAA members
$130 for non-members
2 sheets of Arches 140 Cold Press paper will be supplied to you. Please bring your own preference for additional experimentation.
