Congratulations John Blank for being selected as Artist of the Month for his Drake Widgean wood carving. The theme was 3-D. John will be doing a demonstration on his woodcarving techniques, Tuesday, June 20th at Ella Sharp Museum, 3225 Fourth St., Jackson MI. Social time starts at 6pm, meeting at 6:30 and presentation from 6:45 -8:30pm.

Congratulations Terry Kamela-Cheney for being the JCAA Artist of the Month in January. The theme was Hearts and Flowers. The medium is hand mixed marbling paint. Terry made this piece during a marbling marathon with her husband as they experimented with these paints and different marbling techniques. Marbling #5 is hanging in the Ella Sharp Museum until February 21st, this piece is framed as a 12×14 and is $250.
